Our Story

Started in 1998 as Management Recruiters of Harleysville, Power Search Partners has become one of the leading recruiting firms specializing in engineering, business development and upper level management talent. We started working primarily in the power and energy industry and have since spread to many industries such as telecom, chemicals and foods.

Along the way we became more than just industry experts, we became recruiting experts. As recruiting experts we help our clients determine and quantify key performance indicators that form the basis for a successful hire. We take the time to understand our clients culture and history.

Bob Eschenbach


Bob started Power Search Partners in 1998.  Prior to this Bob worked in various management roles for Westinghouse Electric and ABB.  Since starting the business, Bob and his staff have placed thousands of candidates and helped hundreds of companies grow their business.  Power Search Partners has won numerous awards within the global recruiting Network the firm has been affiliated with and Bob has been personally recognized as a top international billing manager.

When companies ask Bob his secret to making a successful hire, he tells them that it is very simple; he’s made a lot of hiring mistakes, and learned from them.  There is no substitute for experience when it comes to improving your hiring decisions.  Bob makes it his personal responsibility to help his clients mitigate their hiring risk and maximize their return on investment.

Bob has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.  He is an avid distance athlete having completed an Iron Man triathlon and numerous marathons.  Bob also enjoys surfing and frequently travels in search of interesting people and great waves.

Megan Gaul, Managing Partner

Megan is currently a Managing Partner at Power Search Partners.  She has 12 years of executive recruiting experience in energy and engineering.  Prior to this role Megan was the Recruiting Manager for Day & Zimmerman’s Engineering, Construction and Maintenance group based in Philadelphia.  She has filled positions from the C-Suite level to sales & marketing, finance, and human resources.

She specializes in retained and executive search and has developed a large network of executives that span multiple industries.  Megan’s key to success is her natural ability to build long lasting relationships with candidates and clients.  She also works with a sense of urgency and adds value to every step of the recruiting process

Megan has a Bachelor’s of Science from Bloomsburg University.  She enjoys spending time with her family and two children.  She also loves running, yoga and traveling whenever possible!
